Welcome to Houdenbek Farm Cottages & Guest House
Houdenbek Cottage is a restored National Monument and offers
self-catering accommodation on a working fruit and vegetable farm
in the well known Koue Bokkeveld. It is an affordable family retreat,
about 2 hours drive from Cape Town. This is a picturesque area on route to the Cederberg
and is nestled against the rugged Skurweberg mountains.
The cottages and Sandrivier Farmhouse are surrounded by old oak trees - promising a peaceful
and relaxing stay.
Surrounding mountains host a number of beautiful hiking trails and offers a perfect challenge for rock climbers.
You can choose to have dinner or breakfast on prior arangement at our
establishment during the week.
On weekends
the accommodation is self-catering - breakfast baskets optional.

Location of Houdenbek Farm Cottages
The Koue Bokkeveld is a mountainous area situated on a plateau, 1050m above sealevel and can be
reached on the R303 from Ceres via Gydo Pass and the N7 via Citrusdal.
It is a mere 60 km from Ceres and 200km from Cape Town.
The area has a rich history and Houdenbek Farm cottages are situated on
one of oldest farms.
